eyebrow microblading

What is Microblading?

Microblading is defined as:

"a semi-permanent technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, in which pigment is placed into the skin in fine, short strokes resembling hair, using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles"

In other words, Microblading is a means of providing you with darker; more defined eyebrows that are not permanent but will typically last anywhere from 1-3 years depending on how you heal,  your skin type, and your daily skincare routine.

Most that have had this done will tell you that Microblading isn't necessarily painful but rather uncomfortable. It all depends on the person! (And Lisa will put some topical numbing cream on ya!)

Is it Safe to Do?

As with all body-art procedures, Microblading must be done by an artist that is educated in bloodborne pathogens, cross-contamination prevention, and aseptic technique.

The environment you have your procedure done in is crucial to the healing process as well. In a professional body art shop, you are in a clinical and hygienic environment in which all body artists must maintain a high level of safety.

A major difference between a body art shop and a spa/salon is that we don't have loose hair and hair products/chemicals flying around the shop.

Those things may cause complications/infections in freshly microbladed eyebrows, tattoos, or body piercings.

Just one more way that we are keeping our clients safe!
